Task 2: Lost in Translation

In groups of 4 we were given a morse code message to translate and present using 3 different forms for the dots, dashes and slashes used in the sentence. They had to be identical and able to attach them together to mirror our message to the audience.

We discussed different ideas and looked at materials we could use for the individual areas of the message. It took some experimentation to find what was visually successful as well as practical, for example we looked at using buttons for the dots but found the materials we had weren't going to be usable because of their design and colour. We decided as a group to order some online to ensure each piece was identical and matched the scheme of wood and card materials we were already using.
